On March 18, 2022 Jerry Busse introduced the Trustee Warden and here is what he said: Meet the Trustee Warden. It feels amazing in the hand and provides unmatched control in every slice and cut. You will love with this blade regardless if it is deployed in the workplace, campsite, or at home for kitchen duty. This knife sports a handy 3.4” flat saber ground INFI steel blade with a very fine tip along with a handle that is designed for both comfort and control. These were offered in BIG DC (Busse Industrial Grade Double Cut) & Satin Finish (Hand Applied) Blade Finish and a varity of Handle material. These were based off the Game Warden which were released in 2006 and very popular models and were all made in certain color combination. This one however is not a production Trustee Warden and is full blown custom. The Busse Custom Shop started with a .17" thick Saber Ground Hand Finished Satin Blade and put a very fine V-Ground edge that is super sharp! Very few Full Custom Trustee Warden were every made (Ganza and Grab Bags!) Than they went all out with the handle and went with a Custom Hand Smoothed Forest Green G10 G-rexed Spalted Maple Handle Finished off with Mosaic Pins & Red Liners. The peach liners only go up to the G10 bolsters but the Red liners are underneath the forest green G10 so it goes the entire length of the handle. The Forest Green G10 is the first for me, I have never see Busse use that color and it is quite sweet. Each one is hand custom made by the Busse Custom Shop. The Warden is a very popular model because of how small it is and how well it fits in the hand! This model was made in many different thickness. This has a INFI Steel that is .16" thick Blade with a very fine V-Ground Edge! This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened. This is made of the infamous INFI Steel which is a proprietary Steel is used ONLY by Busse Combat! This knife will be backed 100% with Lifetime Warranty from Busse Combat!
