Description: B&W DM 603-S2 Tower Speakers A rare find! I am the ORIGINAL owner. These are exceptional speakers that have provided me several years of outstanding music. The depth and clarity of these are simply amazing. There are few words to describe the Imaging and detail that comes out of these.Never pushed, I mostly played Classical and Jazz through these with an Accuphase system. The music was breathtaking!The Kevlar drivers are something to behold, and are indicative of the quality of the build of these speakers! I regret having to sell, but due to downsizing, and life-changes, it has become necessary to part with these fabulous speakers. Please NOTE!!** These are in absolutely excellent condition except for ONE thing.... Years ago, I purchased some "rubberized" "Isolate-It" disks to acoustically isolate these speakers from the surface I had placed them on. Unfortunately, I did not realize and did not know that those disks were made of "SORBOTHANE". Sorbothane has a nasty side effect of damaging the finish from wood surfaces!!! I was extremely upset about this, but the damage was already done. Please see the last picture which shows the bottom of these speakers. The finished is slightly damaged. This has absolutely NO EFFECT on the sound of these speakers - and is completely un-noticable during normal use. If you are, or know someone who is good at restoring finishes, I'm sure this would be something relatively easy for them to do. Included with these speakers are two sets of foam inserts for altering the Lo-Frequency Response. One set is already in the back of the speakers. The other is in the shipping box - along with two sets of spike carpet screw-ins. As much as I would like to offer free shipping, I simply cannot - due to the size and weight of each box (There are TWO large boxes - ONE speaker per box). Each box weighs about 52 LBS. They are packed and protected with foam and the boxes are double walled. I will only charge for the actual shipping costs to your address.The Estimated Cost to ship via FedEx Ground is $64.50 - $144.16 PER BOX!! So depending on your address, the shipping costs may be $128 - $288 Hopefully, FedEx would be a little less for a "split shipment" of two boxes for a single shipment Thanks and Good Luck
