Description: Beautiful byzantine/Etruscan style ring. Quite heavy at 8.03g. Measures 13mm at top and 9mm at the shank. It was purchased in Rome but I am not sure if the ring was manufactured in Rome. A lovely old piece. Quite sturdy, the shank is 3mm thick. All of the stones are bezel set. A jeweler has authenticated the diamonds he believes the ruby may be lab created. The ring is a size 5.5 but fits like a 5 due to its thickness. Quite a conversation piece. In the pictures it looks as if there is a black spot on the main stone but it seems to be the way my camera is seeing the end of the culet. I can't see it with my eyes.
