Description: c 1922 Cauldon Pottery 22 kt gold leaf decorated barrel shaped miniature coffee can demitasse duo. Produced in the Cauldon Place works, Shelton (Hanley), Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Gloriously Gothic revival design in grey, with Greek key border in black on a crisp white base, displays beautifully. The deep saucer has an 11 cm diameter, the cup stands 5 cm tall and 7 cm from outer edge of cup to outer edge of handle. In perfect original antique condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration that I can identify, the design is as clear and vibrant as the day of production. The gilding is in near perfect condition, there are some kiln spots. The bases bear the Cauldon England back stamp. I have listed 6 identical sets separately. Ref: 64
