C Ahrenfeldt Limoges Porcelain Large Souffle Ramekin Underplate Violets

Description: Antique Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges Purple Florals Large Souffle Serving Bowl Underplate Set Very pretty set! Lovely florals in purple or deep lavender with greenery and touches of yellow. The large souffle serving bowl measures 8 3/4 inches across and 3 inches in height sitting on the underplate. Plate measures 10 inches. Very good condition on the souffle bowl with no chips or cracks. Underplate has a tight hairline from rim but sturdy and mostly visible only from back. Very pretty lavender/purple florals! They are both marked with the Charles Ahrenfeldt mark in green. They are also marked with " Made expressly for J. Dorflinger, Louisville, KY. " The souffle dish is also marked with Porcelaine A Feu which I believe means fired at a high temperature. The dish can be used to bake a souffle or dessert. The bottom is unglazed. A great set and lovely with other Limoges or Haviland items and very pretty for year round use. Please view all the photos.
