Description: This is a beautiful example of early Wavecrest. The Creamer is 5”D x 3.5”T & the Sugar is 6”D x 4.5”T. Made by C F Monroe ca. 1880-1890 timeframe. The glass is White Opal milk colored glass. It has a satin type finish and then elaborately decorated with hand painted roses. The set is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The metal fixtures are tarnished from age and firmly secure and functional. The insides are very clean. Ware on the bottom is commensurate to it's age of well over 100 years. Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.
