Description: CID branded road frame, fork, headset, Campagnolo dropouts. Beautiful lug-work! Headset needs a little adjustment. Campagnolo front fork dropouts. The rear horizontal dropouts appear to be Campy but nothing on the casting. Can be set up as a single speed/fixie, or install derailleurs and make a complete geared bike. Seatpost that is 27.2 mm. I cannot find a frame number on it. The frame was new from Stone's Cyclery of Alameda CA in the late 1970's. A friend of mine picked it up there and assembled it for my sister-in-law whose first ride on it was the Hekaton Century Ride. She has kept it since then but has now graduated to an e-bike. I have not been able to fine out much information on CID frames. At the time, we were led to believe that frame was built in England and these frames were shipped to the US where the decals were applied, possibly at the old Georgetown Cycle Sport.
