Description: This beautiful antique dessert bowl from Wedgwood & Co England is a stunning piece of Victorian era pottery. The bowl features a hand-painted antique pink rose pattern inset into a blue band with embossed accents and gold trim. The color is a creamy ivory although in some of the photos it appears lighter. I haven't been able to find the exact pattern name, but the closest I believe is the Florence, maybe older. The round glossy finished, small scalloped edge bowl measures 2 1/4 inches in height and 4 3/4 inches in diameter. Recommend hand washing to preserve the originality of the bowl. There are two very small chips on the blue trim as seen in the photos. It weighs 4.8 oz. and has a painted back stamp with the number 2/1783. The bowl manufactured in England between 1862 and 1900 is a special piece perfect for antique collectors and lovers of fine porcelain and pottery.
