Ornate with Much of the Original Paint and Heavy at 30 lbs. This Interior Architectural Element was commonly found in Theatres, City Buildings or Homes of the Wealthy. Fancy Gilded Age Ironwork by Johanson & Chaplin Boston which is cast into the backside, see photo. 24 3/4"H x 17 3/4", base footprint is 17" x 5 1/8". The top and base have areas for attachment as it most likely mounted to the floor and had a top railing. Front loaded weight so will not stand alone as photos will show. Depth is 6 1/2", distance between screw hole centers are 8 1/2" top and 11 1/2" for base. Please Look at All Pictures and Read Condition Section.
