Sterling Silver Gallery Glass TrayA rare and beautiful Edwardian George Henckel & Co. sterling silver & cut glass gallery tray.The sterling and glass tray is ball footed and has convenient handles on each side. This tray has a heavy and thick beautifully pierced scroll work bordering the entire body. This tray is engraved with beautiful art nouveau monogrammed initials "CTW" on the front in the sterling border. The bottom of the tray is marked sterling, 25 which is most likely the pattern number of the tray, 11 which is the size of the 11 inch tray, This piece has the makers mark of George Henckel & Co. of New York. Apparently this tray is rather rare as we cannot find any examples.Approx.
