Description: This is a really special rare little banjo uke! It was restored and set up by Jake Wildwood. I bought it from him around 10 years ago and it’s been such a fun instrument to play throughout the years bringing a unique voice to any jam. And quite loud for her size. She’s a Lyon & Healy Washburn (their top-of-the-line brand) banjo uke from around c.1920-1925 Jake replaced the original unusable internal tone with one he made from copper tubing. It gives this beauty a sweet “poppy” sound. She’s also got: A new Grover ebony & maple bridge. And new Grover uke pegs If you’re looking for a quality banjo uke, this is an incredible instrument. It’s a solid strong build and light at the same time. If you still have questions after looking at the pics, ask away.
