Beginning in the 15th century, it was used in creating several manuscripts connected with Marie de' Médicis. FOR AUCTION: This is a round corner exquisite canivet paper card / ticket featuring a light blue horse in the oval center overprinted in red with the word ”Complimentary”. SIZE is 3 x 4-5/8 inches/. It does not appear to be a religious card, and it is very delicate so, I believe it to be machine made, and not hand made. NO indication of purpose or manufacturer.
