Description: Calco (California Clay Products), South Gate, CA 1923-1932 Not sure exactly what is depicted on this fantastic piece from Calco. It could be an underwater or jungle scene with a large "animal" set among vegetation. Very 3-dimensional with a somewhat rustic feel. Calco's glazes are superb; glossy shades of green, brown, yellow and beige compliment the scene. It is in excellent condition and measures 8" long x 5 1/2" x 2" at its deepest. Definitely a conversation piece!
