Description: This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. As the 1980's began, the major comic book companies (DC and Marvel) were facing increasing competition from smaller, independent publishers, and so they were forced to up their game. They began publishing limited run series, and eventually switched to printing their comics on better quality paper, the better to highlight their artwork. DC started a limited run, 12-issue series in 1982 titled Camelot 3000, a sprawling epic mixing sword and sorcery with science fiction. It featured the first American comics work by Brian Bolland, and was DC's first series printed on Baxter paper, which reproduced the artwork in a striking and colorful matter. This series remains very popular with collectors. Here I have Camelot 3000 #6, dated July 1983! This issue is in near mint condition - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $4.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
