Description: This vintage recipe scrapbook from Cannon Mills Mfg Company is a wonderful addition to any collection. The book contains about a dozen or so sheets of notebook paper where someone either hand wrote or clipped, glued, or taped recipes to. There are other printed sheets and a couple loose recipes inside as well. The book shows some wear, there is fading and discoloration, soiling spots and stains, worn edges and corners, creases and some of the sheets are broken loose. Some of the best recipes came from employees in the old factories and mills around the country, then taken home to be favorites there too and this is a great glimpse into the past. The scrapbook offers a unique insight into these culinary practices of the past. For anyone who is interested in collecting vintage scrapbooks and recipes, this is unique.
