Canon EOS 1D Series Camera Body Shell

Description: A great display piece or conversation starter... for sale is the Magnesium alloy body shell or "skeleton" of a Canon EOS 1D Series digital camera which could possibly be the Canon EOS 1DS Mark III? PLEASE NOTE: I am not 100% sure which model camera body it is exactly so have a look at the photos provided and determine the model for yourself... but it definitely appears to be from the Canon EOS 1D series or Canon EOS 1DS series. I would say this is quite a rare item... where can you find another one for sale? The body shell is coated in some kind of a clear lacquer which I assume is to prevent further oxidation? My understanding is that it was once displayed at a camera store somewhere? See photos for cosmetic condition... if your'e expecting MINT condition then this is not the one. I am selling the Canon camera body shell as is with no returns accepted... the photos of the body shell are part of the description... the photos of the body shell were taken with a mobile phone - no photoshop or image editing present... in the photos I am trying to display all the scratches and imperfections of the body shell so the viewer can see it's honest cosmetic condition... all the information presented here is accurate to my knowledge at the time of writing but please note I am not exactly sure which camera body it is but it appears to be something like a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III...
