Description: Welcome! This listing is for a device by Canopus called the ADVC-100. Unfortunately, it does not work but includes the box, documentation, firewire cable, audio cable, and ADVC unit. The only thing missing is the official adapter. The unit is damaged in some way that prevents video from passing through the unit via the firewire cable or the A/V output port. It turns off and on, and it can switch between the analog and video modes as indicated by the LED's, so I can only surmise that the unit is not entirely damaged beyond repair. Nevertheless, it is being sold as is for parts with no warranty. If someone can fix it, this device can be seriously helpful for multimedia enthusiasts that work with vintage forms of video capture technology!
