Description: Up for sale is a signed, First Edition, First Printing hard cover copy of 'Hydra Head' by Carlos Fuentes - Winner of the Cervantes Prize. Carlos Fuentes signed and dated the book, in front of me at a reading/signing event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. The event took place on January 24, 2011. I will include an event flyer as proof of provenance for the signature. My apologies for the poor quality of the signing photos. The Y always keeps the event room kind of dark and I did not want to use the flash in my cell phone camera. Carlos Fuentes delivered a rousing reading that night and then he stood the whole time while he signed everybody's books. Published by Farrar Straus and Giroux. A stated First Printing, 1978. Book is in fine condition, there's shelf wear to the dust jacket. Not price-clipped ($9.95), BCE, ex-libris or remaindered. Bid with total confidence, I have been a trusted eBay Seller since 1999.
