Description: Offered here is a carved wood miniature decoy of the Common Loon, it is 6” in length and 3” tall. The bottom is incised Sculpture Tremblay, Canada and he has inset red eyes. The painting is superb. There is an area looking at the bird from the rear where the feather display on the left may be nicked, please look carefully at the pictures. I recently obtained a number of miniature carved and painted decoys, all signed by the artists that seem to have originated in the 1980’s - they are decorative and for display, not for actual hunting decoy use.
