The setting and 20 inch chain are both genuine sterling silver stamped 925. The Tanzanite is a purple-blue color. It is an11X9mm oval cabochon cut stone and weighs 4.8cts. The Tanzanite is carved with the pretty shape of a flower . On either side of it is an untreated, natural uncut diamond, known as a polki diamond. Each diamond is approximately 4X2.5mm, and both diamonds together add up to 0.3cts. As with many natural gemstones, the stones in this pendant do have some inclusions. The diamonds are I3 grade. Together, the tanzanite and diamonds in this pendant add up to 5.1cts. The sterling silver setting is nicely crafted with an open work design of silver swirls. This pendant measures 1.25 inches long from the top of the bale to the bottom of the silver work, and it comes with a 20 inch sterling silver chain.
