Description: Here is a Carver MXR 150 receiver. Cleaned all the controls contacts. 100% working. I normally replace the cabinet, but this one was in to good of shape to do that. And since I am selling this for a friend. Its not mine to make that choice. A couple of scratches, and on the left side of the wood panel, there is a coulple of dents towards the top. All in all it does still look great. You can get the specs for receiver on line. The front is in very good condition. Couple of scratches towards the left handle on the front. And for some odd reason. there wording did not show up the darkest. None are worn. Just hard to see. Its just the way Carver did the etching. I did replace the front speaker knob. and since that one is metal, there are 2 small set screws on it. I taped the allen wrench on the back for it. Also the power button was broken, switch is fine. So to fix that, tack melted the button to the switch. works fine and shouldnt have any issues but if it was me. I would watch for one that comes up on ebay, just in case. but the switch is fine. Agian i tack melted it to it. I do disclose everything. The camera picks up every spec of dust on the black. After all its 40 plus years old. This receiver is not light. Because of the size. it will be in a new oversized , double wall box, and very well packed. To much time on this one to let someone destroy it. Since its over 40 years old. NO WARANTY, I do promise not to be DOA. It will also have tamper proof stickers on it. If broken , you buy as parts or repair, no returns. I have to do that so no one will steal parts from inside of it. Sorry. If local pickup. do not pay until i send invoice. Since this is in a oversized NEW double wall box with Styrofoam all the way around it and with bubble wrap. Any damage due to shipping will have to have a claim filed on it. I packed this very well. Going to be hard to find one as good as shape as this one. Please ask questions first if any. The receiver is 28 lbs and 19 1/8 wide, x 20 inches deep and 5 1/2 tall. Because of the price, you will have to sign for it per ebay and fed ex. Not only have I been doing wood working for the past 20 years, and have a complete wood shop will all the major equipment. But I went to school for electronics back in 83 and got a diploma in it and that is what my normal 8 – 5 job is, and have also a personal complete electronics shop with all the test equipment. I am not someone that picked up a soldering iron one day on eBay or read the internet and all of a sudden I am an expert. Its also not what my dad did but what I do. Not living off someone else's credit but It’s what I do for a living. I have been to schools for all the major brands and authorized for most right now.
