No chips Ray and Pauline Cash opened Cash Family Pottery in Erwin, Tennessee in 1945 and the pottery operated until 1989. It is estimated that over a 1,000 different molds were used by Cash Family Pottery over the 44 years that they were in operation. Collecting Cash Family is similar to going on a treasure hunt for you never know what you might find. It's patterns and glaze are very distinct and can be easily distinguished from other potteries.
