York and Tecumseh air conditioning compressors have been used in many original equipment applications since 1958 up to 1984 on both American built and imported vehicle makes. The York and Tecumseh compressors were used from the factory and in many dealer installed air conditioning systems. Both the York and Tecumseh compressors are basically the same in design and it is easy to exchange them for a Sanden or Sanden type A/C compressor. These compressors were also popular as the basis for add-on air conditioning systems used from 1958 to the early 1990's. This compressor pumps 8.4 cubic inches per revolution with a maximum 6000 sustained RPM range. This 508 Series AC compressor provides ample capacity for even large interiors and will enhance the appearance of your engine compartment.
