CDs Various Ragas - "Thaat" collection from India - Hindustani Classical VG+/VG

Description: This includes a compilation I purchased in India around the year 2000. It includes 10 discs with different ragas on each.The discs appear to be unplayed and the jewel cases are intact. The outer box is a bit rough but expected after such a long time. The artists are world class instrumentalists and vocalists from that (and earlier) era. Including: Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Jasraj, Ustad Bismillah Khan, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma. Included is a booklet that provides a history and description of each Raga category (eg. Kalyan, Bhairavi, Bilawal...) This is a unique set that I have not seen ANYWHERE on the web. I have seen the Bilawal disc sold separately. NOTE: I am not rating the jewel cases. There may be cracks and scuffs, priced accordingly.
