Description: Type: CDV Size: 2.5 x 4.125" Photographer: D. Filson (presumed) Location: Steubenville, OH (presumed) Date: approx 1870s - 1880s Condition/Description : Hard to find performer Madame Minnie Shaw. I was able to identify her from another photo that appears to be from the same shoot (same clothing and backdrop). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to turn up any information on her life and career, and I am unsure if the child pictured is her own or is being used for scale. In antique/vintage condition. Delicately hand tinted with pink and green. Wear from handling and age are present with minor surface wear and some spotting on the mat. Corner and edge wear are noted with small bend and pinhole to upper right corner. Back has multiple smudges and fingerprints.
