Description: We are offering an antique Challinor, Taylor and Co 'OW'(open work) Floral plate in Opal. Opal is what milk glass was called in the 1800's.This plate was manufactured in the mid to late 1800's. The plate is 10 1/2 inches across. The edge of the plate is a cross cross design of open work. The center has a lovely floral design that has been associated with Challinor, Taylor and company in bowls, plates and compotes. There is a hairline crack in the open work area. I have included an image of this in the photo gallery. It is not unusual to see these hairlines in the antique open work type pieces. Challinor, Taylor and Co was located in Tarentum, PA between 1884-1891. This really is a lovely piece. We offer FREE standard shipping to all states except Alaska and Hawaii.
