This book is ‘Chamber’s Information for the People, New and Improved Edition’ by William and Robert Chambers. Published in 1842 by William and Robert Chambers, Edinburgh. It is Volume 2 only. The book is hardback. The covers are brown with gold lettering. The covers are in poor condition. There is wear and marking to the front and rear covers. The spine has wear to the edges at the top and bottom. The covers are starting to become loose and would benefit from taping. Internal pages are in very good condition for their age with only the smallest number of marks and foxing. The most foxing is to the title page and index. The inner front and rear blank pages are in reasonable condition. There are 800 printed pages including index. There are black and white illustrations throughout. Size is 25 cm x 17 cm. I have been completely honest about this book. Therefore, please see photographs for their condition, sorry for their poor quality.
