Description: Mid 1950’s silkscreen poster designed by Norman Carlberg ( 1928-2018) . Measures about 15 by 16 1/2 inches but the image and paper are out of square. Poster made when the artist was serving in the US Air Force at Chanute Air Force base in Illinois. Carlberg went on to study at Yale under Josef Albers. He headed the Rinehart School of Sculpture at the Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore for many years. Poster pencil signed by artist lower right corner. Poster from the artist’s estate.
