Description: This is a quite beautiful set of 26 volumes of Charles Dickens works. The books do not appear to be dated directly that I've been able to find, but between an inscription on the inside of one volume suggesting it was gifted to someone for Christmas 1908, and a good amount of internet research, I believe this set to be from right around 1898. The set is fully illustrated, and it's in surprisingly great condition for being 122-ish years old. The set is not complete -- according to the title pages, the set consists of 34 volumes. The previous owner only had the 26, and they said they had this set for a good 50 years, so the other volumes have probably been lost to time, long ago. If you want this set shipped, it will be put into multiple boxes, and shipped media mail. Local pickup can be arranged for those in or coming to the metro Detroit area.
