Description: A wonderful piece by French artist Charles Levier ( 1920-2003) Painted in 1959 it depicts three Parisian prostitutes captured in an expressionist brutalist style with an amazing use of earth tones, olive greens, taupes, mustards, blacks and browns. It was difficult to capture the colors with my phone. It’s in its original frame with burlap matte. The matte is overall very clean with no stains. The frame has minimal ware do to age. The canvas size is 30”x 24”. Framed it’s 36” x approx 43” I have had a lot of Levier pieces in my collection over the years and this is by far one of the best from, in my opinion, his strongest time period, the late 50’s early 1960’s FOR BEST PRICE VISIT MODERN HOME DESIGN SHOWROOM when in Palm Springs, Ca.
