Description: Charles Meigh Tivoli Pattern Red Transferware 8 1/8 Inch Plate C.1835-1849 Antique British pearlware plate. Decorated in the Tivoli pattern in red transfer. Impressed Improved Stone China mark in the center. Also marked in red Tivoli Meigh. Produced by Charles Meigh between 1835 and 1849. Has crazing typical of earthenware, some staining, and a tight discolored crack extending off the edge. Measures approximately 8 1/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. HV
