Description: CHARLIE WELLS TRIPLE HOPPED IPA INKED BREW MASTER draft beer tap handle. Bedford, England. Brewing for the country since 1876. An adventurer, a pioneer and a maverick. Now 5th generation family owned. The original brewery was perched on the banks of the River Ouse and the beer was brewed using water from an underground reservoir that Charlie Wells himself dug the well for. Filtered through limestone and chalk. All their beers are certified to be made with only this mineral water. Merging with Young's for a short time in 2006. Then selling off the Bedford brewery and most of their other brands in 2017 to focus on Charles Wells in the pubs. Long history. Charlie Wells Triple Hopped IPA. 5.1%ABV. English ale with notes caramel malts, pine and grains. Now retired. This is a second generation tap. Not done as nice as the first ones and it may show minor imperfections. Tap is new and never used. Excellent condition but I want to point out some super fine lines that could be a paint brush hair or brush stokes that left fine lines in the finish. On the neck and upper back as seen in last few pictures close-up. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. Last picture shows twin brothers for comparison only. Proud Brew-master with a big fluffy beard. Wearing his new red Carhartt overalls with suspenders down and no shirt cuz he looks so bad ass. Foot up on a barrel that shows the Triple Hopped IPA label and his name. Back of keg shows his signature. Arms folded and a carefree look on his face. He wears the map of Bedford on his chest with some other sick art. I have seen better tattoo work. His back has just been freshly inked with the beer in bold black graphics. The one must have hurt like hell. That's dedication. Human art. Never before seen like this. Internal 3/8 threads. Stands almost 11 inches tall. That's about 6ft. 5 inches tall.
