Description: CHIEF SEATTLE - Where The Green Rivers Run CD BRAND NEW in shrink-wrap. This is the second and final release from the Atlanta, GA based folk-rock band with all original songs. Michael Koepenick and Paul Bonesteel formed Chief Seattle as an acoustic duo playing the open mic scene in '91 and '92. After a couple years as a full band, the boys went back to their acoustic duo roots. Soon after they recruited the energetic Bob Maxfield on percussion. Some months later they added Keli Mercadante (of Wild West Picture Show) on vocals & percussion with Maxfield moving to drums. A revolving door of13 different bass players toured with the band for years until they called it quits around 1999 after playing Music Midtown. The Buckhead Roxy, Eddie's Attlc, Red Light Cafe, and lots of other venues and festivals. The songs were produced and recorded by the legendary Dede Vogt at her Sound and Fury studios. BTW, any web or contact information on the band is no longer in operation. Michael Koepenick founded creative video company Guillotine and plays music with his band Dangerous Basement and lives in Decatur, GA. Paul Bonesteel lives in Asheville, NC where he operates Bonesteel Films and writes poetry and music. Chief Seattle music can also be found on Spotify.
