No history is available for this unsigned piece. The type of wood, the artist or the date it was created is unknown. Per the estate sale staff: this item had been stored away for many years. It is in over-all good condtion. It had been only surface cleaned as it has lots of patina It does show wear and there is one seperation crack in the base (see photo) with no attempt for repair. It appears it may have had a pole or rod in his right hand at one time which is missing. This item is nicely carved, very detailed and remains in good shape considering age and having been stored for so many years. SOLD AS ISThank you for viewing this item. We are a smoke-free home.
