I offer 9-ounce jars and 8-ounce tins. 9-ounce jars are perfect for small to medium-sized rooms and 8-ounce tins are perfect for small rooms or as travel candles. In my opinion, my scents are not overpowering to the nose. The fragrance is detectable and there, but it does not overwhelm.My candles are hand made and time cured with either soy or paraffin wax and each candle listed will specify which type of wax is used.I sell 9-ounce jars and 8-ounce tins. Both have long burn times.Soy wax: This is a wax that is all-natural. With my soy candles, I use 100 % soy wax which can show a "frosting effect" appearance in both colored and non-colored candles. This is a byproduct of all-natural wax and is perfectly normal for it to appear this way. It does not affect the performance of the candle. The fragrance can be more subtle than a paraffin wax candle.Paraffin wax: This wax is not as clean-burning as soy wax is and can leave your candle jar with a more black soot appearance on the jar after burning. It is a very commonly used wax because it provides a more highly fragranced candle.Which type of candle to pick: If you are looking for a clean-burning candle that has no additives and don't mind the natural "frosting", then go for a soy candle. A paraffin candle will provide a burn that is not as "clean" as soy, but may be a bit more fragranced.Scents created for each candle are based on the opinion of those around me and myself. Not everyone will have the same interpretation of what a scent claims to be.If you can't seem to smell the fragrance of a candle, consider the size room that you are putting it in. Smaller candles work best in smaller rooms.As with all wicks, these must be trimmed down after each use for the best and most even burn. Never burn a candle unattended and for longer than 3 hours at a time.
