I like the cotton fabric in the middle instead of quilt batting. Quilt batting just makes it too bulky and thick. Your dishes could topple over.All the fabrics are high-quality 100% cotton fabric that I pre-wash. Pre-washing makes them all shrink so that when I make them they all end up the same size. It also keeps them from puckering after being washed so that one fabric doesn't shrink more than the other. I can machine wash and dry them like any other laundry.Place setting not included.
