Description: Up for sale is a fantastic map of the solar system from circa 1825. The map is from before the discovery of Neptune or Pluto. The print is approximately 19" x 12 1/2", including the border area. It is blank on the reverse side. There is a crease down the middle from when it was originally bound. This map was obviously apart of some book or atlas. Overall, the map is in Fair Condition. There is wear, browning and spotting. There are creases and nicks along the edges. There is a 2 inch tear from the middle of the top that extents down. There are a few other tears, as well. However, these would all flatten when nicely framed. There is also some writing with a marker in the bottom right hand corner box (figure #3 & #5). There is white tape place on the back, which extends onto the front of the paper - from the bottom. It is a great piece - perfect for any astronomer or collector! Other dings here and there. Please note that this will ship flat. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
