Description: This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment. Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes. This is clearing out of some left over costume and re-enacting items from a recent TV Movie film shoot. This stamped Silver reproduction Hat insignia is BRAND NEW - never used on a hat or cap, so the edges are crisp and sharp. Very, very Nice Civil War era company Number in a more hard-to-find SILVER color - Number "2" capital letter Hat insignia adopted in 1858. New and never used or worn - everything is clean and as you can see, these are not your run-of-the-mill re-enacting insignia. 5/8 inch tall in size. This is also like that seen on 19th century Police Caps and "Keystone Cop" style hats - a rarer SILVER color that would be ideal of historical Police recreations and costumes - with the Hat and Uniform Collar insignia matching the color of the uniform buttons and badge/shield. A great item for living history, films and re-enacting, and a steal at this price and great looking. Check out the detailed photos for everything that is cool about this reenacting collectable from the 19th Century. Buyer pays shipping and I do combine shipping on multiple wins. Please check out my other listings of historical costumes, items and DVDs. Happy bidding and wear in good health. I'm happy for bids outside of the USA, but there would be a higher shipping coat which I will invoice for.
