Description: Very nice Civil War-era CDV of a young man. Look how big his bow tie is! It's inscribed on the front and back, apparently from his mother, who appears to ID him as "Philp" to someone named Susie. The back says it was made in 1862, but there's also writing there that says "Co. K 32nd Illinois, 1865." It's unclear how that may relate to the image, if he was a soldier.
