Description: Up for sale is a great, FULLY serviced version of Steiner's classic Steinette viewfinder camera. The only 35mm camera made by famed German military, sport, and industrial optics manufacturer Steiner, this petite viewfinder camera features the excellent Steiner Bayreuth 45mm f/3.5 triplet lens in a unique single=bladed leaf shutter capable of speeds up to 1/200 sec. This is the four speeds plus bulb version with flash syncro port. This unit has been disassembled and fully serviced with cleaning and relubrication of the viewfinder, interior lens cleaning, and relube of the film transport, shutter mechanism, and focus helical. Camera exterior is in excellent vintage condition with minor handling wear and minor brassing/corrosion to chromed parts. Lens optics and viewfinder are in nice condition, free of scratches, haze, and fungus. Shutter speeds are within spec. Also included is the original brown hard leather case, which has a broken strap and is coming apart at the bottom seam.
