There are no cracks or chips on the lid or the case, just light faint scratches from handle and storage. There are no residue or hair burn at the bottom case and all the rollers are in great shape as well look nice, clean has no stains (all nubs are intact). I had cleaned, tested this set and its work fine. Nice set to add to your hair care collection and hard to find in this nice condition.
