Description: Claro Walnut Burl Slab. Wood has been air drying for about 1 year and may need some more time to dry completely. Moisture meter reads about 12% MC but it's probably higher in the very center (my guess is about 15-18% in center). Pictures 1-7 show wood sprayed with water to show figure and simulate the look of the wood once a finish is applied. The last 2 pictures show the wood dry. NOTE: As you can see in the pictures there are some inclusions and voids/checking. These can easily be filled with epoxy or another type of filler. There are also planer lines on this board.
