Description: You are looking at a great copy of CLASSIC COMICS #26 (later known as Classics Illustrated #26) published by Gilberton way back in 1945. This pre-code comic is famous for being the story of Frankenstein's Monster. This is a RARE (only 12 graded copies on the CGC census) second print identifiable by the missing price in the white circle on the cover and the lack of indicia on the first page as seen in the photos. Obviously I'm going to lay down the "I'm not a grader" line. The book has picked up some wear having been around the block since 1945 (see pics of spine and pages), but seems to be in better condition than any other copy I can see on eBay or elsewhere right now. Please examine the photos provided closely and come to your own conclusion on condition.
