Description: All proceeds of book purchases go directly to Making Spirits Bright. Making Spirits Bright is a nonprofit that is dedicated to promoting and providing access to books to enhance literacy and the love of learning. We work to distribute free like-new books to families that do not have adequate access to books and who will benefit most from them. Making Spirits Bright partners with local school districts in SE Michigan, providing free book fairs, where students take home books to create their own home libraries. And we supply teachers and media specialists with materials for their schools and classroom libraries. If you know anyone that needs books, send them our way! Check out this short video of a free book fair we did in Pontiac, Michigan recently. We are also partnered with and distribute books to community centers, women's shelters, United Way, Kids Kicking Cancer, UUAA Prison Book Program, and food pantries. We are selling a few like-new, current, popular books to cover our programming cost. 100% of the proceeds go directly back to Making Spirits Bright. We are completely volunteer run. Check out our website's blog and event gallery to see the ways MSB is making a difference.
