Description: This nice plug adapter kit is designed for use with a Schick electric shaver. It allows shavers with U.S.-style plugs that operate on 120 volts to be used in foreign countries or on board ships with prong or bayonet-style plugs providing up to 250 volts. Its condition is very good with all the parts present and clean. It appears to have been used very little if at all. There is some wear on the travel box that is visible in the pictures. The instruction sheet pasted inside the box lid is illustrated with black-and-white photos of the style used during the 1920s to 1950s. It also refers to British South Africa which left the British Commonwealth in 1961. Based on these clues I've estimated that it was made during the 1940s. 8723BT
