Description: You are looking at a clear F marked Pat'd Oct. 18th 1898 jar. Made for a safety valve jar. It is inside embossed to the jar lid. There is a small chip on the lip. It Could use a cleaning. I do not mess with them. I am also not sure what the jar looks like, that the lid would fit on to. Looks like this one has mold lines in the glass.
