Description: An original oblong ceramic vase by Clemente Massier finished with a dark forest green and ochre ceramic flow glaze. Signed MCM (Maison Clemente Massier) and production location Golfe-Juan with an impressed stamp at base. The vase measures approx. 3.5" at base, approx. 2.5" at vase opening, and approx.4.5" at widest diameter. It stands 7.5" tall, and weighs 2.25 lbs. There are some imperfections that are a bit tricky to describe. There are some light abrasion marks that are not actually scratches as viewed under a 10x loupe. The glaze has developed very fine crackling not visible to naked eye, and following the crackle pattern lines there appears to be fine damage likely caused by being lightly rolled on another surface. The 'casually' visible affected areas are limited to one side. Otherwise, very well preserved with a clean interior. No chips or cracks. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any additional details or photos.
