Description: Alzeer's Immaculate, Rare & Vintage Games Clever Endeavor The Game of Clever Clues Store Category(s): Party Publisher/Year: Mind Games, 1989 Players/Ages: 2-32 players, Ages: 12 to Adult Product Number: 908 Game Type: Party, Trivia, Roll & Move Size & Weight: 10 5/8" x 10 5/8" x 3 1/4"; 3 lbs. 9.8 oz. Inventory Code: BG-2-19010067-2 Condition: (See grading guide below) BOX: Near Mint Minus. Extremely light shelf wear CONTENTS: Near Mint. Possibly never played. The objective of the game is to get from start to finish by solving the clues on the question cards. Each player moves along the track on one wedge (1/8 slice) of the board, towards the center. One player takes a card and reads the category (Place / Events / Person / Thing / Side Track) and the clues one at a time, and other players try to guess the answer. The six clues on a card may be read in any order. The clue reader may give the hardest/most vague clue first. The fewer clues you need, the farther you will move forward. Players move ahead seven minus the number of clues read before they gave the answer. If a player only needed one clue, they move six spaces. If they needed all six clues, they move one space. The player who solved the clue becomes the next clue reader. If no one solved the card, it passes to the left. Players have two free guesses at the beginning of their score track, and one free guess once they enter the red zone. After that, they move back one space for each incorrect guess. If a player lands on a space with a triangle, they draw a Venture card and follow the instructions. If they land on a red space with an arrow, they fall back to the space indicated. The first player to reach the center of the board wins. It does not have to be by exact count. Games with electrical components: We endeavor to remove old batteries from electrical components where possible and clean terminals if needed. We may miss one here or there, so be sure to check the device and assume batteries are old and need replacement. Electric/electronic components are briefly tested to be sure they turn on/off and respond to buttons, etc. However, due to time constraints we are unable to test all the functions of more complicated or sophisticated components. Possibly scrunched, but not badly. Contents in used condition. All major/critical parts present. Possibly missing a non-critical part (like a pawn) which can be substituted without effecting game play. Part substitutions possible for non-critical parts (like dice, play money, etc). Good (5): A well played game. Box shows wear and tear. Parts are well used. Likely missing a few parts or has replacements. Game is playable.
