Description: This Beautiful Collectable Art Deco Bakelite Vanity Hand-Held Beveled Mirror is preowned. There is no monogram. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to the Bakelite frame. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to the beveled glass mirror. There is surface wear to the frame due to age and normal use such as scratches, scuff marks and some small spots of discoloration on the upper back as shown in pictures.You can see them best in the last picture. The beveled mirror has areas of aging as shown in pictures. I looked it up and It's called either foxing, de-slivering, or haze depending on the site you look at. From what I read, this is a fairly common flaw in old mirrors due to moisture and time. This Art Deco hand held mirror is in fair condition. Please see pictures as your opinion may differ from mine. This mirror belonged to my Aunt and it is from the mid-1940s. The pictures are part of the description, so please review them. Beautiful mirror.
