Description: For sale is a 8 lb. splitting maul head, measuring 8-1/2" long, with a 3-13/16" wide edge, a 2-3/16" octagonal face, and a 13/16" X 2-5/16" oval eye.{remnants of the old handle remain, as pictured. Signed "Mexico" and "8",{Collins clearly printed on the old split discarded handle} it has a excellent face, showing minimal use and wear, but with a very badly chipped edge, as pictured, which will require edge work on your part.
